Pork Checkoff - Pork 4 Kids - Pork Show-and-Tell

Hi! My name is Jennifer and I'm from Ohio. This is a picture of my market hog 4-H project from a couple years ago. My brother and I have raised some pigs each summer to show at the fair. A couple times we were really lucky to win a trophy and ribbon at the Hartford Independent Fair. Ever since I could walk I have either shown pigs in pee-wee showmanship or in 4-H.

Growing up on a swine, dairy and crop farm, we always had chores to do, so I really looked forward to going to the fair to show pigs and hang out with friends. Now I'm too old to be in 4-H, but I like to help younger 4-H'ers learn about how to take care of their pigs and get ready for the fair.
